Generic (EP)
July 11th, 2010
Generic is the 4th release by Sydney based electronic producer R.Miller, again displaying the unique fusion of different sounds, moods and genre elements that have marked the previous releases. From the ear opening first track, 'syntax', with its frantic IDM/techno 8 bit savagery and the following number, 'concrete', Generic displays a brand of electronic music as driving and anarchic as anything the prodigy released. From there it moves and shifts thru subtle nods to trip-hop, electronica, glitch and minimal techno before reaching a dreamy synth and guitar closer, 'fodder', a remarkably emotional sounding track coated in new wave tinged vocal melodies.

Orwell Bunny
September 1st, 2009
13 tracks of electronic moodiness. Lost in a forest of IDM, trip hop, glitch and new wave sits the lone figure of Milkrun, carefully sculpting minimal strains. Think metal textures and the sounds of data corrupted, think moody baritones narrating stories from sci-fi novellas to a beat and fizzle of over worked machines.
